Playing computer games and being part of a clan, I frequent IRC often. Whilst at work its impossible to use my favourite client mIRC due to port blocking issues. For a time I used a webb-based tool called IRC@Work, however this has since been closed down. But don’t worry, I’ve come across a funky online system called Mibbit. Its really great, has autojoin, auto-auth and lots of other cool custimisable features.

Soo Rick, you did it!!!!!! The winner of the EMA Best Act Ever 2008 Award!! Let me hand out my congratualtions for the great (and deserved) honour! The total amount of votes Rick received was apporximately 1 BILLION, yes, a figure higher than the population of Europe, and pretty much thanks to the website mentioned in my perevious post.

Ok, so perhaps it is  cheating, but if you search deep down to the bottom of your heart, can you honestly say he didn’t deserve it? I thought as much, lets all hold hands and respect the love he has given us all, and the sense of well-being that there’s at least one person out there who will never give up on us.

Rick Astley, you Sir, are a God.

How would you feel if I said you had the chance to make the whole internet blogoshpere/geeks laugh out loud, and I mean actually laugh rather than say/speak lol? Well, nows your chance, all you have to do is vote for the great Rick Astley in the MTV Music Awards “Best Act Ever” category!

Well now, a bit more research tells me you probably don’t need to vote after all. A site has been set up with software that automatically sends votes to the offical MTV voter for Rick astley, and at the time of this post he has at least 945,680,600 votes.. probably enough to secure him the honour!

The new Football Manager demo was released last night (Saturday) at midnight,  I awaited it with eager anticipation….  and what a let down!! I mean the first bug you see is when you type ANYTHING, and double prints the letters to the screen. Come on SI, how did that ever get past testing??

The actual release is something like 14th of this month, so hopefully a lot of the demo bugs will be fixed, but I would probably bet my house (if I had one) that they won’t be..

So I recently came across this little gem, a social image sharing website by the name of ffffound.com. I have no idea why I like it so much, but it really appeals to me. It might have a lot to do with the fact that a lot of the images posted are really fantastic and something you might not otherwise find. Its also invite only at the moment, and from looking at the types of images posted they are a mix between creative indie types and natural body art (porn) fans.

I expect a couple of the images soon to grace this blog will have their source (kind of, I mean thats just a repo of images from elsewhere anyway) at that site.
